Julie has been helping clients with protection and financial needs since 2012, when she became affiliated with New York Life.  She is also a Financial Advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor, and a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities, LLC. Eagle Strategies LLC and NYLIFE Securities LLC are New York Life companies.

 

Julie has been a member of the Florence, South Carolina community for over 20 years.  She is a member of the Pee Dee Chapter of Great Business Networking (GBN) and has served in many leadership positions within the Chapter.  She has been a member of the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce since 2012 and is a Chamber Ambassador, helping welcome new businesses to the Chamber.  Julie is a 2023 graduate of the McLeod Foundation’s McLeod Fellows Program.  She also proudly supports many community organizations such as Grateful Dog Group, The Miracle League of Florence, Greater Florence Habitat for Humanity, and the Terrence F. Carraway Foundation. 

 

Believing the best way to assist clients in finding the best solutions for protection and financial planning is via education, Julie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of International Management (MIM) from the University of Maryland University College.

 

Julie has also completed, and maintains via continuing education requirements, industry designations from The American College of Financial Services:

 

               Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®)

               Chartered Financial Consultant®(ChFC®)

               Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®)

 

Additionally, Julie achieved a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, which requires rigorous ethical standards, extensive and comprehensive training, and continuing education as set forth by the CFP Board.  She is currently one of just three women holding a CFP® certification in a 50-mile radius of Florence.

 

Julie is also a member of The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals, recognized globally as the standard of excellence for life insurance sales performance in the insurance and financial services industry.
